There's always a reason to celebrate .....

During a particularly difficult phase, I realized that it was up to me to make the changes. (Obvious, perhaps, but sometimes we tend to forget.)

It needed to begin with light, literally and figuratively. I have been a photographer for twenty years, so light has kind of been my thing, but I grew weary of having one sole focus. I craved making things. Pretty and lovely things. I don't know how exactly it first appeared, but I began researching candle-making, kind of to a point of obsession. I realized that scent was an art I hadn't yet explored, surprisingly. I sourced beautiful ingredients with wonderful companies, poured and tested extensively, and am thrilled to finally offer these to you.

I am working on other loveliness - room sprays, jewelry, and yes, photography, among other things - and will bring those into the shop soon, so do check back, and follow along at Instagram and Facebook for updates.

May these offerings bring a small token of well-deserved decadence and light.
